Nice spot for a drink and live music. We went to Honey West after dinner for coffees and dessert and to listen to some live music. The lounge area is comfortable and the service is fast and friendly. They had a narrow choice of desserts but the chocolate pie was delicious. There’s a Cheers feel to the bar with some regulars and what seemed to be a lot of women in the restaurant having dinner… maybe just a coincidence.

This is my go to. Great Sunday brunch and can’t beat cheap lunch 8 $ with glass of wine.

Stopped in here with a friend — I grew up in Btown but haven’t been back in awhile and he didn’t know the area. It was Canada Day so there wasn’t a ton open and those places that were had crowds. We were quickly seated. They had a very limited lunch menu where everything is $ 8 and includes wine or beer. Not bad. Portion sizes were a bit small but considering the price, not bad at all. I had the burger — solid, with a nice taste and texture but nothing fancy. Really good fries though. Wine(white) seemed pretty average but watery. My friend had a smoked meat grilled cheese. His sandwich was a lot smaller than the burger. The service to start was a bit scattered but attentive and friendly. After our meal though the server disappeared for a long, long time. We eventually had to go look for her twice. If they tightened up the service a bit they’d be a decent spot. But if people wait as long as we did for their bill… They may have troubles.

Ate here last summer. Great patio and friendly service. Had the 3-Pig Pizza — wow! So amazing. My dinner partner had Lobster Bisque and a veggie pizza — she was also impressed. The only issue I had is that service was so slooooow! And our waitress only came by 4 times, 1 for ordering/2 for drinks/3 for food/4 for bill. If we had needed anything at all we’d have been SOL. That pizza though! Made up for slow service.

We tried Honey West on the recommendation of a friend and we are glad we did. The décor is modern but warm. The greeting at the door was friendly and we were quickly shown to our table and the drinks order taken. There was a large party in the other side of the restaurant but it didn’t affect the service– we were well looked after. The service was prompt and efficient and the food tasty. The calamari was tender, not rubbery and the salad crisp and fresh. The steaks were lean and tender, very well prepared. Mine could have used a bit more seasoning but that’s a personal preference. Easy to add a bit more after the first bite. Cap it off with a nice bottle of Malbec and it makes for a great evening. Will definitely go back.

This place is mediocre at best. Have been here a few times and tried various dishes. The prime rib, onion soup, pizza and lettuce wraps… nothing stands out as fabulous. We basically only come for drinks and to here the live music.

The in-laws and my wife and I, for a night out, ended up at Honey West for the first time. After asking for and receiving the late night menu, my father-in-law and I asked for the phở. To be completely blunt, the phở was the worst food I’ve ever eaten. It was watery meat flavored soup with(what appeared to be) instant noodles. I regularly eat Vietnamese phở, and this was not that. In addition, service(at midnight on a quiet Canada Day long weekend) was surprisingly slow. Overall: a huge disappointment.
