This Canada Computers is fantastic. Their customer service is always great, and every time I have come by with a question, they have been able to answer it, and help me find what I need. I bought a really expensive keyboard from them about five months ago. I need to send it back to the manufacturer now, because it keeps freezing. I spoke with one of the Canada Computers employees over the phone, and she was able to pull up my receipt(which I couldn’t find at home) based on my serial number, and was kind enough to print it out for me so I could come by and pick it up today. I also had probably the best customer service experience I’ve ever had anywhere at this store. My computer hadn’t been working, and couldn’t run a very important work program. I really needed it working quickly, and I spoke with a lady at the store named Atur. She fixed everything on my computer, including stuff that three IT experts from work couldn’t do, and got it back to me very quickly. Not only did she do an exceptional job from a technical standpoint, she also communicated with me often to give me updates, so that I wasn’t worried about how things were progressing. In an age where people often don’t even do the basic things we expect of them, she far exceeded my expectations.

Meh. Decent prices, good selection, thankfully a great return policy. Bought a Saitek yoke from them that once I opened it, it was pretty clear to me it was a return/repackage of a defective item… it was still defective. Not necessarily their fault, could have been a Saitek or distributor screw up. At the end of the day, Future Shop beat their price by $ 65.00 and worked 10 seconds out of box. Their product was 2 hours of screwing around and a drive back to return. Staff was nice enough but somewhat disinterest and all 3 I dealt with didn’t have great product knowledge. The best one Me «Do you have x product?». Him«It would be over there.». Me «I didn’t see it.». Him«If you didn’t see it we must be out.». ZERO effort to confirm or look up on the computer. Very lazy salesperson. Amazingly I get a much higher level of service at Future Shop… and they can be brutal. My impression is; this could be a great alternative to the monster stores if their staff had more interest in their jobs and customers. Oh well…
