Some of the services we offer are: ultrasounds, digital x-​rays, acupuncture, endoscopy and surgical services. There are eight veterinarians that practice here and we offer evening appointments as well.

Choosing a veterinarian is a very personal thing. We have four cats, and our priorities are to find well-​trained people who actually care about our animals and who are kind and supportive to us, too. We find all that at SSVS. We drive in all the way from Lunenburg to have these folks care for our cats, and are so glad that they’re here! We had to use their after-​hours emergency services a few weeks ago when one of our cats wasn’t putting her weight on one paw. The doctor called us right back, made an immediate appointment, was calm and loving with both us and our pet, and quickly diagnosed both the foot problem (a broken toe) and a flea allergy, which we hadn’t known about. The cost was perfectly reasonable and the quality of care was first class.
