Best pub food in Brentwood Bay! Great specials, very reasonably priced. Their Chicken Taco Burger is to die for!

Another reliable place for pub food.. .. If you live in Brentwood Bay or out on a drive on the Peninsula.
I have visited a number of times through the years. It’s not necessarily special in any way in the over-​saturated pub category, but it’s always friendly service and reliable on the food. Not much ambiance, but good when there is a hockey or football game playing, if that’s the type you are looking for.
While its now called a bar and grill, it still has a typical pub food menu, one of many pages — appetizers to sandwiches to burgers to entrees and Sunday brunch too.
The pot pie special at $ 8.95 with choice of side was a winner. Chicken or steak & mushroom. The latter was a nice savoury balance of meat, veg and broth. It was baked in a French onion soup bowl with a big slab of flakey puff pastry on top. Garlic salt on top. The French fries were perfect done in a dry fry result. This was all above average. I had a pot pie special a couple months ago at another like pub in Saanich and it was a baked pie in a foil tin with poor filling and gummy broth.
My partner enjoyed brunch Blackstone Eggs Benny, soft, with avocado, smoked back bacon and tomato with hash browns. He said they were all done like they were meant to be.
Service is good, friendly and helpful, in a teamwork sort of way.
