Staff are super friendly but were very slow getting our meal to us. I ordered a poutine and my friend ordered wings. We saw the poutine get put on the counter while they waited for the wings to finish and by the time it got to our table, the gravy had congealed. Also wasnt a fan on the flavour of the gravy. Bonus points though for not charging me for the poutine even though I never formally complained to them. Missing The Moose.

We were in town for another event, and a staff member suggested that we try Sociable. WOW. I have to say that Sociable is now one of our favourite restaurants. Sarah helped us with our menu selections and was excellent all around. She was very knowledgeable of all aspects of our meal, right down to specific ingredients in the homemade sauces. We would return in a heartbeat. I had the fish and chips, as I was just in one of those moods, and it was buttery smooth. The only negative thing of our whole meal was that I ordered the french fry wedges, but I should have had regular fries. The wedges are so thick it was like eating a chunk of potato. Fortunately the amazing homemade ketchup saved the day. Other than that, the atmosphere was great, the staff friendly, the 4-beer sampler that I had was great, we’ll be back!

Ambiance is great, as long as you’re okay with some noise. I liked the décor, but it’s just one big room, so I don’t think it’s a great venue for a date, and it’s definitely not family friendly. We sat in one of the half circle booths(fun idea!) and our waitress was great. She was very attentive, and brought me a sample of beer before I committed to a full pint. I was really expecting a more diverse selection of beer, and was disappointed that my preference(light and fruity) has only one real option. Since the owners also own Beertown, I was expecting them to have Fruli at the very least. I gave it only three stars because the food was overpriced, and not very good. My guest had the Mac and cheese, which was quite plain, and topped with cold tomatoes. I had the burger and fries, which again, lacked flavour. I was expecting a lot more, especially when the meal(two entrees and two beers) cost $ 65 with tax and tip.

Great food and super staff! Huge beer selection. Definitely worth stopping in if you haven’t tried it yet.

Sat down in booth, was never greeted as we walked in. Severs just kept walking past our table looking at us. Waited 15 minutes, went up to the bar had to request service. Was told«we’re smoked tonight ». Here’s the thing, don’t you expect to be «smoked»? Isn’t that the point? Why open a business and plan to be slow? Staff accordingly … Train your servers to at least communicate and say someone will be with you shortly …

Very nice staff and love the layout of the restaurant. The only thing I could suggest is having more alcohol choices outside of wine available

The food was great. Almost exact menu as beer town. Same Wideman group so that makes sense. Atmosphere is very similar. Nice and busy so it is a happening place. Service was very slow and the servers were very difficult to find(at least ours). Manager came by to check things out but we did not say anything. Our beer was empty for far too long. For a wetting hole the hole was far too dry(slow service). The food is decent and the in house made condiments were both tasty and a nice touch. The burgers were very good and the fries make you want to come back. Nachos were decent and the Mac and cheese was exactly the same as at beertown. Overall experience a solid three. If the service was better a four would have been easy. I would definitely suggest trying if you are in town or passing through. I would come back and just cross my fingers for better service. They do a sort of team serve but not quite there.

Drinks are cold and atmosphere is cool. Menu is a little light with little selection.

First time here since the renovation and was thoroughly impressed! The décor was warm and welcoming, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The Blueberry Kale salad is my new fav. We will most definitely be back to try more items from the menu!

Excellent! Friendly staff with great service. Very attentive. Get the beer and cheddar soup. You will NOT be disappointed. I wanted to talk home a gallon of it! Plenty of TVs to watch hockey. I suggest going with a large group so you can try all the food. This sure isn’t SWISSCHALET so if you like bland gross food then do not come here. Heeeheee

Drinks were okay… don’t get the«I’ll be your French Girl» with the red wine float… float apparently = red wine poured on top of your drink. But the other ones we had were good(huckleberry and hemingway). Appetizers we had were okay, not the best despite being reasonably priced(we had nachos, tuna poke, and garlic cheese bread).

My family came in and it was quite crowded for 2pm on a Monday. Our server was Grace, and she was very attentive and friendly. The food was good and presented well. We had several servers help out so they worked well as a team. There are washrooms on either side of the restaurant, so convenient in that respect. I did notice however that the washroom on the left hand side of the restaurant had very little clearance in front of the water closet — thus not barrier free. The washrooms on the right hand side had more room. Prices were on par with Kelsey’s.

Great brunch in the newly opened Sociable! Everything made from scratch even the Ketchup! Delish! And love the décor and old time rock and roll music. Eggs Benedicts were very tasty! Also an excellent selection of draft beer!
