I go to TNT regularly and have found a lot of bargains there. I have decorated my walls with prints and paintings purchased at TNT. Try not to get caught up in a bidding war as you may end up paying too much. Be patient, something you like will eventually come along at a surprisingly affordable price. Recently, I have begun selling some unwanted and unneeded items at TNT. Some things that I sold went for less than I hoped; however, I was surprised at the high price I received some things that were clutter to me and a treasure to someone else. Now that Goodwill is gone, I suggest that you consider selling unwanted items at TNT. I will be going there this afternoon for the regular Wednesday sale. I do not expect to buy anything, but there were a couple of things shown on their website, that I want to take a closer look at.

If you are new to auctions be careful. I learn my lesson as I was told by two different employees that they would call me but that is not how it is done so make sure you get all the right information as to how they work otherwise you could loose your stuff!

An interesting local auction house. Most of the buyers seem to be antique dealers from several parts of the Province. Collectors obviously have an advantage if they know what they are doing as they can afford to pay more than dealers. I understand that the tools in their gallery 21 always sell, so I was not overly surprised to see one of the characters(with camera crew) from Storage Wars Canada recently trying to sell some tools that he bought from a storage locker. P. S. The snack bar is OK. Not much selection, but the pies are good and I like the hot dogs.

I am surprised to see TNT reviewed on Unilocal.I come here almost every week. Sometimes, I see something I want to add to my collection, so I bid. Otherwise I go home. If an item, I like goes higher than I want to pay, I drop out. There will always be another time. Usually, I try to find out when an item I want is likely to be auctioned. As there are a lot of items on sale, I do not want to wait around for 6 hours until the item I want finally comes up for sale. There is a vast variety of items up for sale, so, you are advised to look at the photographs on their web site, to see if anything might interest you.

The staff are super friendly to the regulars. People who have the time to go to these weekly(Wednesday) auctions can often do quite well by buying here and re-selling at Flea Markets or elsewhere. There is a food station that has an assortment of mostly unhealthy choices, but you can get something to drink at least. Parking is ample and there is a bingo in the same complex, so your significant other can do something if they are not interested in the auction. There is often sports memorabilia(jerseys, autos), sports cards, stamps, coins, dishes, photos, figurines, old magazines, old everything … you decide if its valuable or not. There are computers, furniture, books, and just about anything that gets sold in the marketplace. Sometimes people overpay for things, other times I’ve seen screaming deals. It can all happen in a matter of 2 minutes. I would give this place higher rating if the staff would put more effort into describing the items, or at least ask the sellers to write a description on a cue card for them. The night is full of their awkward and unappealing descriptions of the products being auctioned.
