Meet the Business Owner

Sonia I.

Business Owner

With a passion for music & the arts, Sonia Isidro founded Synergy Performing Arts Academy, which originated as Brampton’s Inter-National Music School, in 1995. She began piano lessons at the age of 5 in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she was born. Her mother’s admiration for the piano was passed down as she enrolled Sonia in one of the most prestigious music conservatories in the city, Conservatorio Lina Rey de Perciacanto. She was examined by the highly acclaimed Instituto Musical J. Brahms, where she became the youngest Pianist to receive a teaching certificate with an honourable mention at the age of 11. She later continued her music studies with the Royal Conservatory of Canada at the University of Toronto branch where she mainly concentrated in «The Art of Teaching» programs.
