Shoppers Drug Mart

I normally like Shoppers Drug Mart of all sizes as they’re convenient, fast, and well stocked… I just can’t do it for this one. There’s a few nit picky reasons but the biggest issue is service … or lack thereof.
I’ll start with the small stuff. It’s a big store… quite big but for some bizarre reason, they cheap manager uses really bad light bulbs to the point they’re ALL flickering and much dimmer than other stores. It’s really hard on the eyes and noticeable the moment you walk into the store. The other bad thing about this store is the smell… it smells like mildew and mold. No joke. I honestly believe it’s from the mops they use as the strongest smell of it was near the place that was recently wiped. It’s gross… horrible. and nauseating.
If that isn’t enough to deter me from getting it out of there, their staff is the most obnoxious I’ve ever met. They’re defiant instead of courteous. They’re snide when they’re supposed to be cordial and pleasant. If someone ask you a question on why things are mislabelled by the staff, don’t act as if someone just smacked your dog. I get that they’re very young here but still… basic training on being respectful and pleasant is in order!
With all the issues, the store has stocking issues as well. The identified flyer sale items are never here! Never ever returning.
