While the service was o.k. I was appalled when the man arrived with a GAS MASK to apply gel, Borax Powder and a flushing agent for a residential cockroach problem. When asked why I was not offered the same protection he noted he was protecting his lungs from day long exposure. Seeing that gas mask sent me into a full scale panic at the dangers of the chemicals being used. As it turned out they were pretty safe (so they said) but wearing a gas mask seemed over the top and added to my extreme discomfort at having to have an exterminator there in the first place.
