Battle Archery

Worth every penny! We had a lot of fun and will be returning! I’ve never done archery before and thought it might be a bit of a learning curve, but it was easier than expected and I had a lot of fun shooting my close family and friends… lol.

I went with a group of friends in November 2015 and it was so much fun! The instructor was very helpful, friendly and engaging. We all had a great time and it was a good workout!

Went on Saturday with a group of 24 people and had an amazing time! The staff were great — booking was easy and they happily accommodated our date change. The referee was engaging, helpful and fun. One hour was NOT enough time. Definitely going back.

I had booked this location because of the groupon deal weeks ahead. I had booked for 20 people and on the phone the person told me that we would get the arena for ourselves, This was booked for an Oct 10 date Since i did not want any other walk in strangers int he arena since we had a large party coming in. My first impressions with the bookings was that it looked professional as a business, since they had also sent me an e-​mail confirmation as well as an e-​mail to remind me of my booking a few days before the event started.
This was the last positive impression i’ve had on this place. When i arrived the first thing i noticed was that they had shoved in 4 walk in’s into our group of 20, without even consulting me, who they promised originally we would have a private session for 20 people. This already left a bad taste in my mouth, as i felt deceived as a group.
Then we went onto the training session, where there was a light training, however there was not enough area for people to really practice using the bow, so near the beginning of the match most people were still unfamiliar with how it worked.
The equipment they had provided us was the mask and arm band protection, which in theory is good. however in practice. i had received complaints from almost all the members to me that the mask were stifling made it hard to see as it would fog up easily, and well if you can’t see, you can’t shoot. Most people complained the mask was a major deterrence, and that it almost smelled like it had not been cleaned at all. The Arm Bands themselves were practically useless for most people. as i asked the group and most people complained the arm bands were flimsy and fell off quite easily. which offered very little protection. The arm bands would’ve been better if they had been made with Velcro to attach. because for the most parts i do agree it was useless, as multiple pictures were sent to me by my group members with injuries to the arm.
The last part that largely angered me was. one of the 4 walk in’s that they forced onto our group. had ran point blank range at one of the female members of our group and shot her with an arrow right at her back with full strength. This had injured the person where she laid on the floor for a few minutes, while i had to scream at the top of my lungs that someone was injured. while taking care of her. the judge did nothing for a the longest time. This was part of the reason i did not want crazy walk ins to our group, as they would do actions like these.
as an organizer of my large activity group, and also as a participant to this place, i am beyond highly disappointed at the overall experience. i would definitely not recommend this place to anyone, and would not host one at this archery tag place ever again.

I held our United Way Young Leaders Council Official Launch here last night! The event went extremely well and the team loved the venue.
The staff were all professional and friendly. We had to ask for chalk and some paper towels and they were very accommodating.
The Group On price we got was amazing for up to 24 people but we only had 16.
I have been to a few other archery tag places but this venue by far has been the best in terms of battle ground creativity, sniper station??? wii, picnic tables and the over all feel.
The games were fun and exciting! I would definitely do another event here ;)

This place is awesome. Amazing cardio workout and visceral satisfaction of shooting and dodging speeding arrows! Get a group of friends and head out there for a guaranteed good time.
Definitely worth the soreness the next day. The referee was a very funny and loveable guy who explained the rules for each game state clearly and got us all excited!

We excitedly chose Battle Archery for a company event recently and it did not disappoint! The staff was really great, and it was a lot of fun — and way more of a workout than I’d expected. As far as team-​building/​corporate events go, it was fantastic, with everyone getting a chance to play (no sitting around) and to switch up teams /​games /​strategies — and it was a lot less intimidating (and painful) than paintball. Would/​will definitely go again.
