Au Sommet De La Chute

Very decent fast-​food style restaurant, serving up delicious American classics, with Canadian and French influences. After venturing through the path by the waterfall, we stumbled upon this gorgeous little town with a very high elevation. We were hungry and we didn’t feel like going to the fancy lunch eatery at the visitor center/​gathering hall at the peak of the waterfall. So we came here and we were amazed by the quality food of this underestimated place. It was quite crowded for a Friday afternoon lunch hour (s). Low prices, and a little English spoken by the employees. Plus, because we were «tourists,» we were delivered our food on the beautiful patio, overlooking the neighborhood. We had ordered the ½ chicken with fries and gravy, a hamburger, and a smoked meat club sandwich. The burger was alright. The club was very large and was delicious. Such fresh meat with garden vegetables… The chicken was quite large, and was cooked perfectly. Excellent, flaky skin, with a tender inside. The fries weren’t greasy at all and were quite good. So was the cole slaw. And the gravy made the meal 10 times better. A near perfect experience…
