Waterfront Pizza & Wraps

My first ever Halifax Donair. I cannot say enough about this regional treat. I know that you think you have had donairs before, but trust me, you have never had a Donair if you haven’t had a traditional Halifax Donair.

Tourist rippoff trap. This is obviously a business who has built a model based upon ripping off the droves of one time tourists. If I were a betting man I would bet that my pizza was a reheated frozen pizza. It was a wedge of salty disappointment. My friend’s wrap took far too long to make and was not much thicker than a sharpie marker. He paid around $ 6 – 7 for a wrap that was smaller than some of my leftovers at other restaurants.
I really hope that whomever is responsible for renting these locations on the waterfront do not renew their lease as this is just the sort of crap that has probably driven the tour boats away.
So for any tourists visiting Halifax, yes the waterfront is quite nice but take a few steps inland if you are going to eat. Avoid this plague of locusts who seem to think that tourists have a duty to spend their money on plastic lobsters and plastic food.
