This really is one of the best pizza joints in the HRM! The crust is phenomenal. The moon pie addicting. Even the seasonal pizzas I would normally avoid(here’s looking at you turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce pizza) are amazing! And to top it off the staff are truly amazing.

I was headed for a slice of carnivore pizza when I spotted the donair pizza in the display cabinet. It looked so good. It was only THEBEST donair pizza I ever tasted. It may just be my new favorite.

I don’t know how they do it but the pizza here is fantastic. it has a delicious dough crust, perfectly toasted toppings and no grease! the selection is inspired and the pizzas are never soggy. the moon pie and roasted rocket are fanatic, as well as the vroom shroom. for $ 5 a slice it’s a great deal. it’s semi gourmet pizza at take put prices. this is a favorite spot in sunnyside!

Mmmm… tasty moonpies. I love On the Wedge. I love, love, love them. I can’t give them a full five stars because I was violently ill once after eating there, but do not let that scare you! It could happen anywhere. The quality of the food here is top notch, and I’m not about to let one bad day in the kitchen spoil the whole pie. One of the reasons I love this place so much is that they have so many creative veggie options! It’s not just the standard veggie or Greek and nothing else. No, this spot has pies like these! Try a slice of Roasted Rocket with its tasty multigrain crust, or the signature moonpie, which has a cornmeal crust that is to die for. Tomatoes, spinach and roasted garlic, get in my mouth! Also, if you live in the area, they deliver! Which I didn’t even know! It’s amazing news for everything but my wallet! Yay!

Best vegan pizza ever! Love that they have a vegan slice on the menu but we ordered our own. So delicious and the staff was great too! Awesome service.

I wish this could be a better review. I began ordering from On the Wedge after they started delivering in my neighbourhood. The first time, the pizza was delivered promptly, but a major issue with the credit card machine had me standing in my hallway for 15 minutes trying to pay while my children cried for pizza. Okay. A fluke. So I order again, and once more the credit card machine was not working properly. Again a long wait while it was sorted out. Fine. I called again, only to discover that an advertisment had been misprinted, and the store was closed. No problem. I order again, and this time I pay cash but recieve a pizza that is literally covered in olive pits. I nearly cracked a tooth. Why did I bother calling all those times if I wasn’t happy? Because the pizza, once I managed to pay for it(with the exception of the inedible olive-pit pizza) is wonderful. Interesting choices, sauces, and toppings. The parmesan dusted crust is especially tasty. It was worth the hassle. But after tonight’s olive pit disaster… I’ll be calling somewhere else next time.

My go to stop for«fancy» pizza. There are so many great options for all kinds of dietary needs. My personal fave is the Roasted Rocket even though I’m not a vegan. It’s loaded with roast veg on a multigrain crust. They just recently started free local deliveries on orders of over $ 30 too.

Pretty decent pies to be found at this little stand off to the side of Pete’s Frootique in the Sunnyside Mall. Six or so regular features are premade for the lunch hour for easy to-go munching including multiple vegetarian options, each more exciting than your standard ‘just cheese’ or ‘vegetable medley’. The Moon Pie, in particular, is a stand-out as most people will be happy to tell you! Staff are quick to let you know if a fresher slice is expected out of the oven soon, rather than serving an older one just to get rid of it, and most slices are tossed back in the oven for a quick reheat to make sure it’s good and hot when it arrives on the paper plate. Good for them for keeping a commitment to quality! Occasionally the pizzas can be a bit on the doughy/chewy side, so thin-crust cravers may want to look elsewhere.

Interesting pizzas. Moon Pie is my favourite. They sometimes let the pizzas sit a bit too long in the display case.

I’ve spent some time in the Sunnyside Mall food court. I usually opt for the Sushi or a sammy/salad from Pete’s. But yesterday, yesterday I was craving pure carb and cheese goodness. This place generally has a pretty good selection of pies to choose from. I went for the«Moon Pie» which was bianco(sans tomato sauce) with mozza cheese, tomato, spinach and pesto. The super friendly employee dude heated it up for me and gave me a little to go box and I was on my way. I took one bite into the delicious thin, corn meal coated crust and was sold. Holy eff word. Amazing. Way to surprise me yet again Sunnyside Mall. Well played On the Wedge, well played.
