Main Street Optometric was established in 2010 on the historic Main Street in Bayfield, Ontario. We are committed to carrying quality eyewear. All of our frames and lenses carry a one year warranty — all styles are current, and carefully selected for both style and function.

Clear vision is not the only measure of eye health. Dr. Samuell is a licensed optometrist and provides a thorough eye examination. We want to ensure that every interaction with Main Street Optometric is a great experience — we are here to assist you every step of the way.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Richard S.

Business Owner

Dr. Richard Samuell graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2002. He has served as a clinical supervisor at the school, as well as the Ethics and Quality Assurance committees at the College of Optometrists.

Dr. Samuell has owned practices in Cambridge and Kitchener, and now lives in Bayfield with his wife Erin and two small boys. In his spare time he can be found playing bass with local rock superstars «The Full Nelsons»
