History

Established in 1992.

Zenetec Collision Centre first opened in 1992 under the name Elite Auto Collision, with Martin starting out on his own with a one bay shop on Hart Dr. in Barrie. Business incereased steadily and as it did the shop expanded to suit it’s needs. After out growing the facility, a new state of the art shop was built in 2000.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Martin Monteith has been in the accident repair busniess since he was 16. Born in Northern Ireland, he started his own accident repair shop there after completing his apprenticeship at age 20. In 1989 Martin made the decision to move with his wife and four young children to Canada. After working in the accident repair shop of a local dealership his entrepreneurial trait kicked in again and he ventured out on his own and started what is now one the largest accident repair facilities in Ontario.

Three of Martin’s four children are now working in the business; his eldest son William oversees most of the day to day operations of the company. While neither father nor son are directly repairing cars any longer, both continue to rely heavily on their roots to ensure that every vehicle is rapired properly, safely and delivered on time.
