I’ve just moved from Vancouver to Barrie so need to buy all the furniture for my house as I didn’t bring them. I went to The Brick last week to have a general look to get an idea about the prices and qualities. I was with my husband. I entered the store, we r the only custumers at that time, 3 shop assistances came to us and asked if we need any help and I told them«I am having a browse, if I have any questions I ‘ll come to u»! I repeated this sentence to 3 different persons. Finally, after about 5 min, One of those ladies pointed to us and asked the other lady«Are THESEPEOPLE yours? «which didn’t sound polite and professional to us ! And the other lady said«no, they r just looking around»! And again didn’t seem to be polite!!! And they started to laugh. I got upset and decided to leave the store immediately and did so. I believe that shop assistances should be polite and professional towards the customers so that they can encourage them to shop from their store, not being such un responsible persons! Anyway I do not recommend this store to anyone as I think the act and manner of sale persons are the first thing which is important in shopping.

Just had a terrible experience at this store and will NEVER shop there again and will tell all my friends not to go here either! I ordered a bedside table, paid a deposit and was told I would be called when it came in and that I would have to pay before picking it up. I was called that it was in, so went to pick it up and it wasn’t there… I was told I had to pay and THEN it would be shipped! So I paid and was given a pick-up date. I went to pick it up a day later than the pick-up date and was told it was ONORDER! I spoke to the manager and was told that if I didn’t pick it up on that date it was given to someone else; but while talking to the manager, a warehouse person came to say they found it with my name on it! So then the manager said it wasn’t really mine, that it was really being saved for someone else! I eventually was given the table, but after two trips and more than an hour of arguing, it just wouldn’t be worth me EVER returning for that kind of treatment again.
