I’ve been to Rawlicious in Toronto and Newmarket and have to say that this one is up to par with the other locations. Today I sampled the sweet potato fritters. They were served with a spicy chipotle cashew mayo which completely made them. Without that mayo, IMO, it would have been sooo dry and crumbly. The flavour was on point, I just wish it was more dense or moist because those babies were crumbling machines. Good still, but definitely not my favourite appy. For my main I had the caesar salad. I checked out the dressing recipe in their Rawlicious Cookbook… the dressing has 7 cloves of garlic which is probably why I love it so much. It’s super pungent and flavourful. I’m not a huge fan of their croutons and it was a tad salty but I’m not complaining because I still devoured it. The little cashew crumbles on top were perfect. The portion sizing was good for lunch. Lastly I had the key lime squares. Mmmmmm, I wish I brought some home. It was creamy and tart and nutty and sweet. Just delightful! Water jug refill came without hesitation or delay, and the atmosphere was vibin’. I’d definitely come back again for lunch. I have to admit, I like that Newmarket has their juice/smoothie menu written out on the massive chalkboard… sort of wish this location would follow suit. Either way, Rawlicious is getting a 5 star today!

Brother took me here for dinner and I didn’t know what to expect. I eat ravioli out of a can so I mean I was kind of leery for myself. Was very pleasantly surprised. My meal was fabulous and the girls working there were very nice and helpful. Would go again for sure.

An absolute gem. Superb staff. Quaint and elegantly rustic décor. And folks, I’m a BBQ carnivore, so take this a s high praise, I would come back again and again. My wife’s vegetarian and I’m not so restaurants can be tricky for us. This place was brilliant. The seed salad and the guacamole sprout Sammy was superb. We were served a bottle of water then ordered the green tea. Sat in the sun and just enjoyed. Shared our food so they, without asking, nicely spit it on two plates for us. Afterwards we bought three sweets and ate two – the macaroons in dark chocolate and the cinnamon balls. We saved the super cookie for today. Highly recommend this spot.
