Herb ‘n Sage

Great quick lunch, they have a great menu. Very friendly staff & the food was delicious. Had the turkey clubhouse & their pea soup. All was delicious.

Great place to get some amazing food at a reasonable price. Give them a try you will be pleased.

Came here for lunch with my sister, tried butter chicken, it was very small portions and didn’t have any flavour!

I was introduced to this place by one of my customers. They work in the area and often go there for lunch. I have since become a regular and have taken my family there on numerous occasions. The place is very welcoming and offers a variety of food choices. I noticed that they tend to be open on holidays when other places are closed. Definitely recommend.

I read the posted review and thought this restaurant sounded just like what I was looking for. It’s a little contemporary restaurant with excellent food! Every thing is fresh and well cooked. It was difficult to settle on just one choice. I chose the Herb n’Sage Tapas which, was superb, and the 7-​onion soup. The soup is delicious and quite filling. I really recommend this restaurant.

We moved to Barrie last year and are trying to find good, local restaurants that serve excellent food at a reasonable price. Herb and Sage has an extensive menu, no patrons and a large price tag. Our family went for breakfast on a Sunday morning and were the only people in the restaurant. We found the breakfasts to be over-​priced and sub-​par, in fact, I have never seen my family NOT eat a meal… the egss were horrible, the yoks tasted like chemicals. I had an omlette and ate the whole thing, but was sick for 2 days after. Sorry folks — save your money on this one and go elsewhere.

Let me begin by saying that as an Out-​Of– Towner and technical foreigner from the USA, quality customer service is a major amenity that is occasionally lacked. Herb ‘n Sage did not only offer high quality customer service, but they also served us quality food. We were very fortunate to find this restaurant’s ad in our hotel directory. Although they have a very thorough website, we called and asked for directions and if they accepted our company card. As we spoke to the restaurant employee, she not only gave us descriptions of the food they serve, but also her recommendations based on our personal tastes. When we arrived at the restaurant, the same attendant we spoke to on the phone also remembered who we were from our phone conversation and pointed out her suggestions in the menu. The menu was also very elaborate and offered various health benefits for each spice served in their dishes. After receiving our food, the restaurant employee gave my husband a card that had the website and other company information in case we had any other questions. We went on June 10^th at around 6pm. So whoever was working that shift did a wonderful job and the food was delicious. I thank you for such a great experience. I will definitely come back again!
