Envy Me Medi Spa

Another bust by Envi Me Medi Spa.
I had given them another chance and renewed my laser package. This time the laser machine had broken down and still I did not receive a phone call to notify me of the delay or to reschedule. Not only do I drive 4 hours round-​trip to give them my business but also take the day off work. Again — the malfunction is not within their control but making a phone call is. Something so simple makes a huge difference. This is not rocket science.

I went to Envy Me today for the 1^st of 4 visits to honor a promotion that the company is doing (a pay-​in-​advance 90% off specific services), which is a pretty great deal.
session 1 was to include:
skin analysis
refresher facial
décolleté massage
eyebrow shaping
complimentary refreshment
I frequent a different spa at least once a month for various treatments, and I have been to many in the past as well, so my standards are based on all of my experiences and frankly, for the price one pays at a spa, they are fairly high!
The facial was first, and the esthetician was very nice and seemed quite accommodating, but her co-​workers were yelling back and forth outside the room for most of the facial/​massage, which wasn’t the calm experience one hopes for at a spa.
The esthetician left the room several times for things she had forgotten, slamming the door upon reentering, which didn’t feel very relaxing either.
after the «décolleté» massage, she said we were done, so I reminded her that there was an eyebrow shaping as well. We went to the next room for this and during the waxing, her co-​workers were still very loud and even opened the door and attempted to come in.
When we were done, i asked if there was going to be a skin analysis or refreshments and the esthetician seemed confused, then said no, then said «okay, all i can tell you is that you need to exfoliate more often», which i had stated previously that i do every day.
I wouldn’t necessarily say this was a horrible experience, I just would have preferred something more relaxing, especially if I were to recommend to others or return myself.
I also wouldn’t recommend it to those who are concerned about their skin care products being organic, or non-​toxic, or petroleum free, or free of irritating fragrances. However, everything seemed fairly clean, and there was a water jug by the door so at least I wasn’t completely ripped off in the refreshment part of the deal!
