Barrie Bean Counter

Very friendly staff, clean place. Good coffee. I haven’t had the chance to sit down inside but the ambiance seems nice. I haven’t tried any of their food items so my 4 stars is based on staff/​coffee taste alone. Sorry foodies!

Really cool place. Great patio, interesting items (I had some sort of seed-​y cookie that was delicious despite me not being sure what was in it and a lavender-​white hot chocolate that was really nice).
A little expensive but I guess all cafes like this are, aren’t they?

Short version: Free Wifi, Excellent coffee, nice ambiance, super friendly staff.
Longer Version: In my short time here in Barrie I sampled most of coffee places that we found on Unilocal.All of it very mediocre. The Bean Counter is exactly what Barrie needs.
The coffee is everything the average person who appreciates a good cup of coffee looks for. Organic, fair trade, locally roasted, with plenty of options depending on your choice of blend. It is also very reasonably priced.
Super friendly staff, free wifi, and a great ambiance make it a lovely place to chat with friends or sit and do work.
I’m only upset they weren’t on Unilocal,I’d have come yesterday as well!
