Got a gift certificate for my birthday; I’ve been meaning to go in for a while. Good selection of yarns and patterns. It’s not any pricier than any other small yarn shop I’ve been to. The«40%-off room» is great to explore for nice yarns at a good price. There is a cat, but I didn’t experience either wayward cat hair or any smells(& I’m very sensitive to scents). The ladies are utterly helpful & very nice — I had a great time there, and bought some Zara merino wool for a sweater, a pattern book, and some double-pointed needles. They will even hold wool for you(for up to 3 months), in case you need extra. I may even check out the Knitting Guild.

There are quite big selection of yarn including jitterbug, Fleece artist, Noro sock, some Louisa Harding, drops design yarn, ANNE blatt and some eco yarn as well. THe ladies are quite friendly and there is actually a kitting guild at the same place. but, I never join their Snb, it should be quite good. One thing I don’t like is: they have a cat there! It’s a bit«smelly» inside the store. not sure if you can find the hair of the cat, if you are allergic to cat, better don’t go! Price is a bit higher than the other local yarn stores, so, I didn’t buy much from them, unless I couldn’t find such yarn in other stores. They do have a special discount section at the back of the store, it’s worth to go and check them out. It’s really a good deal! I bought some JOY yarn over there with very good deal! They have lots of magazine back issues, it’s great to check them out. However, they don’t have many pattern books, and not very updated too. They have lots of buttons selection, so, it’s great to buy them at the same time if you are going to knit a cardigan!
