Rock Glen Family Resort is a YEAR ROUND, private, member only resort, which is affiliated with the best camping program in the country called Resorts of Distinction, (R O D) Only Resorts with high ethical business practices are allowed to be part of this Organization. We offer the best in camping and spectacular surroundings, spacious sites and scheduled activities to piqué every interest. Unlike other campgrounds our members do not pay for overnight camping or extra amenities such as mini golf, splash pad, swimming pools and fitness gym etc. Our network of free camping resorts guarantees our campers a site and service that is not offered by any public or government campground.

History

Established in 1972.

The dream started in 1972, Bob and Shirley Russell bought Rock Glen Campground. Due to increased problems associated with public campgrounds they became a membership resort in 1993. In 1997 they joined Resort Developers Association (RDA). Their recognition of the growing need for private, family-​oriented recreation facilities resulted in the building of Rock Glen Family Resort and our early success is unparalleled in the recreation industry. Happy families, completed promises and continued improvements are only part of our success story.

Our philosophy is to continue to strive to provide the finest outdoor recreation facilities and services possible for the members of our park system.
