Super Cute Shoppe. Came in with a friend and got really fantastic service. The DBC latte was Amazing and their chocolate covered marshmallows where sooo good. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Charming little shop. My mother and I went for some drinks and a snack. The flat bread was bland and doughy in the middle. Way too over priced for the lack of ingredients. Also, the mocha cheesecake tasted like it had been in the fridge for weeks. Overall experience was very disappointing.

I see them every year at the Circle Craft fair in Vancouver, this year was no different. I was greeted by «chocolate caramel cream.» No «Hi» or «Hello» just a cheery greeting with candy. Wouldn’t it be awesome if the world greeted each other like this? My good friend and I bought 5 bars of the classic recipe. The problem is that these are super sweet, therefore, a 1″ square is more than enough.

My wife and I met a friend for coffee on a Sunday afternoon, and what a quaint place. There were all kinds of artisan made treats from candy to baked goods, coffee, tea and other specialty beverages. The setting is charming, a awesome place to sit on a gorgeous sunny afternoon, outside basking in the sun, relaxing with a refreshing iced tea. Don’t forget to get a bag of Maple Butter-crunch Chocolates to take home!

Had high expectations and this place didn’t let me down. Was expecting Yaletown prices based on some reviews and the look but was actually pretty cheap for a loose-leaf tea. Fabulous staff and very trendy. Really warm inside because it was sunny but I like it that way. Had the Lavendar tea which I allowed to go for too long so it was a bit bitter — will try something else next time. Was only half full on a sunny(but cold) Saturday afternoon which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely go again!

A great love child created by the marrying of an old firehall and coffee house. It’s a pretty wicked place with lots of cool gadgets. I have to suggest buying the Fred items which are hilarious. Try the DBC latte, it’s delicious and tasty. Pastries and cookies are also yummy Parking is kind of strange and the stalls are angled with the enter/exit with one way in and out so be cautious when backing out. There is street parking or park at the ice rink next door

A place with great coffee and a myriad of other products. The problem is that the service is consistently lousy and wait times of 10 minutes or more are the norm. The baristas are mediocre, friendly to greet you but they make you wait forever.

The stylish go-to coffee shop in Aldergrove. Located beside the ice arena, good coffee/hot chocolate on cold days, and good smoothies for warmer weather. Casually elegant décor, and packed FULL of trinkets, gadgets and gifts for all occasions. Would probably take a half hour just to browse the(almost silly) amount of stock. Nice finds, though. Friendly baristas(technique not perfect, but I’m less picky about lattes.) Good place to go for coffee with the girls. Decent selection of desserts and a few tasty sandwiches.

WoW! I’m glad I asked Inga where to get a good cup of coffee around these parts. This IS the place. Excellent coffee and the shop is really packed with merchandise. Kitchen gadgets, cook books, and gifts. (Ok. maybe a bit too packed– it’s a tiny bit on the cluttered side.) There’s a glassed in solarium to sit and slurp that has a gas fireplace, or you can shimmy on up to the counter, «western style» if I may borrow that remark from richard S. :-) This was a Saturday, so there were some young students serving. I ordered a Soy Macchiato, and I got a lovely looking Caramel Macchiato… –err– Caramel has dairy in it though,(hence the ordering of SOY???) Sadly I had to ask the young lady to remake it. She argued with me that a Macchiato is ‘always’ caramel. um no it’s not. Look it up online, I suggested, trying not to sound condescending, while wondering how a barista could be so misinformed. I didn’t appreciate her sass, but I won’t hold it against Milsean. If I’m ever back this way, I’m stopping in again for sure!

This coffee shop, bakery and specialty store runs in the front of a remodelled very cool old fire hall in Aldergrove. Their cofffee and nosh and lunch food can’t be beat, the atmosphere rivals the best tea houses anywhere, and their retail area is STUFFED with the coolest things. Anything from specialty spices and ingredients for foodies to neat gadgets. The best of the best though is their candy and goodies, made in the attached candy facility. Their cakes are better than the best of bakeries and are made to order and totally affordable. I use this business for corproate gift baskets, and for any occasion needing a cake.
