Specialties
Durham Dog Walking & Pet Services specializes in focused, fast paced leash walks. The first number of walks are always one-on-one to establish trust. No more than three dogs are walked at one time and all must be compatible.
I also enjoy working with bouncy, friendly leash pullers, teaching them to follow the leader of the pack. Sorry, I do not work with agressive, dangerous dogs.
Pet sitting and visits are also available for when you’re on vacation or just can’t make it home in time for dinner.
History
Established in 2013.
Always and animal lover, Tabatha has worked with dogs from an early age walking two of her music teacher’s Doberman Pinschers at the age of 10 and later, training her own, a stray, to heel. sit and stay.
She Worked at an extremely busy animal hospital in Toronto for six years as a receptionist, helping out in the kennels, walking dogs, holding pets for treatment, and falling in love with them all!
Over the years, Tabatha has also shared her life with cats, rabbits, hamsters and both saltwater and freshwater fish. Experienced with administrating fluids and insuline injections to ill and geriatric felines.

With a background in Fine Arts, I’ve never be interested in climbing the corporate ladder and the next step in my administrative career was a position as an executive assistant but the pressures and demands are more than I have to give.
This has propelled me to start my own business and what better than to follow my passion and work with pets. Nothing gives me more joy than taking care of senior pets, working with exuberant puppies or sharing a walk with human’s best friend!
