Ricardo’s Pizza

About an hour ago today I was cut off by a speeding delivery person in a playground zone on George Ferguson and Old Yale. I went immediately to make a complaint to the business. The cashier listened patiently and said he would tell the manager. He didn’t seem like he would tell so I talked to the manager myself whom told me that they «take this stuff very seriously» and that he «would talk to him about it». Meanwhile the driver was leaving for another delivery and he didn’t stop him to talk about it. The driver was SPEEDING AGAIN! On top of the fact that I basically got ignored everyone working their was super slow and «busy» despite their being no one waiting for pizza. It seemed like their was only one order at the time. I hope the driver gets fired and hopefully he won’t put anyone in danger.

First time I have ever ordered from them (although I have been in Abby for 20 years). I got there special 1 lard pizza, wings, 2l pop, and a cinnamon desert. The pizza was great, it was the tropical special. Wings where good, wasn’t a fan of the cinnamon thing, and delivery was fast. All and All a good experience. My only suggestion is Check there specials page before ordering! otherwise you will pay a lot more.

Not too sure why your staff feel the need to argue with their customers RE: the quality of orders they have received. Being told «it was busy» is not an adequate response as to why an order is made poorly. Perhaps your team needs a refresher on customer relations?

Just had delivery. 2 medium specialty pizzas and a cinneparts. I’m so full. The pizza and the dessert were excellent. I recommend for sure. Price was moderate… not cheap, but also not expensive. Enjoy!

Always friendly and helpful staff.
They’re really efficient and knowledgeable when you’re ordering. I just placed an order and they didn’t have to ask me a ton of questions because their system recognized the number I was calling from so that was sweet.
And the pizza is tasty and well priced.
Thai Chicken… yuuup.

Ordered from here tonight because I was in the mood for better quality pizza. It was horrible. Pizza was cold and had barely any toppings. Pasta wasn’t mixed so that the sauce was throughout. Very disappointed.

Great pizza, really good ingredients and great service. Get the whole wheat crust.
The wings are also very good.

Though a little steep in price the Calzones are pretty good, aside from that I wouldn’t give this place much consideration.

I did a bit of hunting for a good pizza place that was reasonably priced. Ricardo’s seemed like a good compromise between quality and price. They have a good selection of specialty pizzas — with plenty of distinct flavor combos and profiles. The pizza was ready in 15 minutes (Great!). These are the upsides.
The downside, is that the food isn’t as good as I had hoped. Maybe it was my own expectations to blame, but I did fast all day so I could chow down. They only opened at 4pm… it didn’t matter if it was Superbowl Sunday.
I ordered the Perogy pizza with wings to share. The pizza was ok. Not terrible by any means, but not great either. What they call farmers sausage, I call ham. I grew up in a Mennonite area, and this is not the farmers sausage I know and love. The wings were pretty soggy and lacked sauce. We live in an age of cheap Convection ovens. There’s just no excuse for bad wings anymore.
If anyone from Ricardo’s is reading this, it would be nice to get one complimentary dipping sauce for the dry crust. Maybe it was just an off day?
Edit: Apparently they do give free dipping sauces, but just jipped on mine.
