We were there a week ago with a party of 12 for a bday party. Even though we had reservations and the restaurant was less than half full we waited 20 mins. to be seated. Well that was nothing compared to the 60 min. wait for our food. Did I mention our party included a newborn and a toddler? Yea… that was super fun! We basically had to finally beg them to at least feed the toddler. After 60 minutes the food started coming… oh look… bagged salad with nothing added, not even a tomato slice… I can totally see how that took an hour to make. All the food was sub par. When I complained to the manager he shrugged and said sorry. .nothing else was done. A fun family and friends evening was ruined. I would never, ever go there again.

Great food, even better service, fast, friendly, and busy! It’s like other locations in Vancouver & Richmond! Was hesitant to try reading other reviews of this location but very happy with the service & food my family received!

I have been a customer of the Old Spagetti Factory since its inception in the 70’s and this was my worst experience yet. Terribly slow service with nothing but excuses, tasteless brown water with bread cubes and very few actual onions was supposed to be Onion Soup, mussels that looked and tasted like raisins because they were SO overdone. This location won’t ever see me again.

UPDATE: I’ve moved my review up from one star to two because in light of my terrible experience Old Spaghetti Factory did follow up with me. They have good customer service and I will give the Abbotsford location another shot if I am in the area. Took my Mom and baby girl here for lunch and sadly it was terrible! One of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. The salad came looking old and sad. Lettuce and dressing was falling off the plate. I couldn’t eat it. We both ordered chicken club sandwiches. Bacon was microwaved stuff. Chicken was pre-cooked and cold and rubbery. Bread was old too. Very disappointing! Even my margarita sucked big time. And no change table! What the heck?! Only up side was our very sweet and friendly server. Oh and the fries were good.

This is not the same OSF found in the US. The service was definately below par and there was no reason for it as it was slow. Our food took forever to come out, we had to flag any waiter/waitress to get refills etc. My toddler knocked my drink over and instead of offering to get a new one they just gave us 3 paper napkins! to clean it up. Food was the same as any other OSF, but it seemed the selection was less then other OSF we have been to. The food was ok/avg. Also my wife said the ice tea was the worst she ever has had. She is used to unsweatened and it was very very sweatened. My biggest issue had to do with the service. 2 hours from when we first got there till we had to hog tie someone to get our ticket. We have a toddler so we like to get in and out as they are ticking time bombs.

I’ve been to other Spaghetti Factory locations, and boy does this one suffer by comparison. I’m not sure what’s going on in the kitchen, but the food is half a step up from awful. Pasta comes out mushy and overcooked, and that’s just not acceptable when you have the word«Spaghetti» in your name. I find the sauces to be lackluster as well. The service has always been good, but that doesn’t redeem the food. It’s cheap and your grandfather will probably like the free Spumoni ice cream alongside his mushy, easy to chew pasta, but very few others will be able to tolerate this hotbed of culinary sin.
