Ok, so a friend of mine says I have to give this place another shot. They must’ve had a bad day or something when I was there last time. So, I said, ok. I went and ordered the 3 pieces of chicken for under $ 7 before taxes. I opened up the small box and I said, oh my. Is Lee’s Chicken serving pigeon or quail? The chicken was so tiny. It was on par with KFC and if I didn’t know better, I thought I was eating KFC but a more expensive version of it. They have micro-sized salads which they too were very pricey. At the end of the day, I say no thank you to Lee’s Chicken. This is not the Lee’s I remember from many years ago. I don’t recommend this place. Instead, you might as well as stick with the real thing and go with KFC. Or even better, if you must have friend chicken, go to Church’s.

Ate fried chicken at this strip mall joint. Exactly like KFC product. Not crispy at all. My feeling is that if you’re going for a once n a while treat, it has to be crispy outside, moist inside and delicious. Lee’s was moist but greasy in and soggy out. Whatever batter and oil they use is just wrong. Fries are restaurant supply deep frozen. While served hot, they were lousy.

Went for crispy chicken fillet sandwich combo … where do i start? The fries tasted freezer burnt. The gravy was runny and greasy. Way too much warm mayo. Tasted off. The bread was borderline un-fresh. The lettuce was limp brownish and wilty. The chicken was dry and tough. It was like trying to eat rubber covered in concrete.. For $ 8.00 !!! Insane ! … And the place is filthier than a truck stop bathroom ! Never Again. went back with two half eaten sandwiches and got my money back. The clerk behaved as if it happens all the time. Didnt even apologize or offer to re make the order. Not going back.

I happened to be passing by Abbotsford and Urban Spoon just happened to pop up places in my vicinity. Since I had a craving for some fried chicken, I gave this place a try. BLECH! I usually have Church’s chicken where the skin is crunchy and the chicken is moist and tender. This chicken had the soggiest and greasiest skin ever. The fried chicken didn’t really have flavour except SALT… lots of it. Between the grease and the salt, I am having a coronary just typing this review. I had to balance this unhealthy crap with something healthier made of wheat to wash away the grease and salt. An ice-cold beer did the trick and got rid of the heartburn and hiccups. Maybe the hiccups came after the beer. Anyways… never again.

If you’re in the mood for greasy & delicious take-out chicken, this is the place. Crinkle-cut fries and thick, flavorful gravy are always good sides to the original or spicy main. I’ve also tried the onion popcorn(think popcorn shrimp and onion ring combo). Certainly not a place to eat on a regular basis if you value your health, but a better option than others available(ahem — KFC, A&W). Downside: the establishment looks a little sketchy and I wouldn’t eat my meal on the premises.

Sometimes the greasy chicken mood strikes, and of course you want the kind you take out in a box in a bag. beats KFC by a mile!
