Campbell’s Gold Honey & Meadery

We tried various honey wine and flavored honey, we thought it was good. The showroom is nice, good layout, has lots of honey varietal to offer and staff is super friendly and helpful.

I have to say that not only was I blown away by all their amazing honey products but when I returned 2 days later (on a Monday, and I didn’t know they were closed!) so I was about to hop back in my car when a gentleman came out and opened up the store so I could buy the birthday present I needed. I highly recommend the cinnamon and jalapeño honey, the wine is fab to (so many to choose from!) if you haven’t been here, you need to go! Thank you for being so accommodating and wonderful, you have a customer for life!

Awesome, awesome, awesome people!!! Judy was awesome! The owner and her workers were so nice! We didn’t call ahead of time because we didn’t have service for a tour. But she gave us a private tour anyway! Judy was so nice and informative! Learned stuff about bees I never knew before. We tasted soooo many different honeys! Also my girl had some wine tastings as well. Ended up buying so many different honeys to bring back!

I am writing about the exceptional customer service provided to me by (one of) the owner (s), Judy Campbell.
I recently had the pleasure of tasting a few different kinds of Mead or Honey Wine for the first time on a visit to the States and I have to say I don’t think I will be coming back to grape wine. Upon coming back to Vancouver I found that Mead is not so easily attainable here and so I sent out an email to a few different meaderies to see if they can point me in the right direction. Judy got back to me within a couple hours of sending the email (on a weekend) saying that they do not have retail locations in Vancouver. Then she volunteered that they will be doing a wholesale run into Vancouver the next day and would I like to have some delivered to me? Yes please!
It is now 3 pm, Monday, and I just received my Mead delivery. I totally expected a delivery fee (I did not even ask for costs etc. I just wanted Mead!) and was surprised to see on my receipt that Judy only charged me for the 2 bottles I ordered. So Judy just drove all the way from Abbotsford to my office in Vancouver to deliver 2 bottles of wine for no extra cost. Outstanding. Who does that anymore? No one. This is above and beyond any expectation I may have had on how this transaction was going to go.
Anyhow, thanks Judy. You have made my day and if I ever find myself driving to Abbotsford for your honey and Mead I promise to buy as much product as I can carry and leave the giant tip you so deserve!
