Discovered TRE Caffè by sheer chance, I was in the neighbourhood, hungry and early for an appointment — the place looked inviting, wasn’t totally packed, so I decided to give it a try. Normally the kilo buffets are kinda boring, have the same kind of food and drab service. The food is all right(decent options for the price they charge) but the service is really exceptional — I was really surprised at how attentive & polite the service staff were when it came to weighing your plate or getting an espresso. It was a refreshing change — I don’t go into regular kilo places expecting to be surprised but this one did surprise me. Once again, I am. It comparing this place to a-la-carte places but to similarly priced buffet places. P. S.: The espresso is surprisingly very good.
