This place is highly recommended by locals for seafood so we gave it a try. Wow! We had the seafood symphony for 2(more like 4) and it was fabulous. It is a bed of rice with broccoli(green seasoned rice) covered with lobster, shrimp, octopus, fried fish and squid. We could not finish it and took enough home for dinner the next night.

Um horror!!! Preços altos, serviço péssimo. Muitas opções e pouca qualidade! Não recomendo. Nada mais constrangedor do que discutir a quantidade de chopp consumido. Tenho por princípio não discutir, mas aqui a coisa foi feia. Consumimos 8, cobraram 16. A conta de 180 veio 274. Quando reclamamos, o garçom aonde fez ironia com a nossa cara. Será que ele pensa que eu saio de casa pra beber de graça? Surreal, não volto mais!

Preço muito alto para o que oferece porções pequenas e simples. Gostei do bolinho de bacalhau e do pastel de camarão. O atendimento é bom, mas não vale a pena para almoçar. Bebidas muito caras TB. Talvez valha para petiscar no anexo do lado de fora. Não voltarei.

March: First night in Rio and we decided to eat here as it was recommended to us. Right around the corner from where we were staying. You can’t help but look at the fresh food coming from the tank. You can pick your crab or fish. It was fun eating the crab as it was a big mess. The food wasn’t outrageously good, but it was good. The service was impeccable however. Although it looked a bit touristy there was a lot of families that looked like locals that came and ate. Can’t beat fresh seafood.

This is a family style restaurant, most of their food is for sharing. At the beginning the price was a bit higher but when the food came out was worth it. Great service and the food is very fresh.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have a Unilocal page! Or maybe I can’t find it? Principe de Monaco was around the corner from the hotel I stayed at on the Copacabana beach about 1 year ago. We met locals on the street(it was close to carnival time) and were referred here. If you want meat go to a bbq spot. This place is known for their seafood and its AMAZING. We came here about 4 – 5 times within the span of one week — they open in the late morning and stay open until late night! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a fun local vibe and sitting on the tables along the sidewalk was fun — we chit chatted with other customers and people walking by. We really liked their whole lobster(served different ways of your choosing), whole shrimp, fish, and seafood combo platters. Bottles of wine here may not be worth it but the caipirinhas are good! Plan to spend a good amount for this fresh seafood. I’m quite spoiled by seafood from the places I’ve lived but this is one of my favorites restaurants in the world!
