Good place in the centre of Zaventem for a casual after work drink with a larger group of colleagues.
When entering, the interior looks like a more classic style local pub, but the atmosphere is casual with a mixtures of small groups of locals and staff of companies nearby. In the back there is some additional space for larger group gatherings with additional tables and chairs.
Apart from the standard range of drinks, the staff (which is Dutch speaking, but also speaks English and French) also serves plates with some basic warm and cold snacks (mainly Belgian style ‘finger food’, such as fried calamares, bitterballen, curryworst, etc.)
In the summer, there is a small outside seating area on the sidewalk (just opposite the church entrance) but this is often quickly filled up.
In general, one of my favourites for a quick after work drink. Ample parking available on the Zaventem Church Square.
