Mèches De Coeur

This is a hair salon that’s been around for absolute ages. It’s run by a wonderful stylist, who’s absolutely charming and loves what she does. My mother’s been going to her for nearly 20 years, and I just started, but I know I’m going to go here while she still works there (though she’s very bubbly and energetic, she is nearing retirement age). The place can get really hot when the temperatures climb, but I really didn’t mind because it was such a pleasure being there and having her do her magic (and she’ll spend as much time as necessary on your hair to make sure you’re satisfied, even if it means closing her store later).
You do have to make an appointment though (I’d recommend about 1 week in advance to make sure you get the time/​day you want).
