A middle-of-the-road establishment located in the Louise district (and near Louise Metro).
The Louise area has upscale shopping, a selection of restaurants, and is less prone to either tourists (compared to Grand Place hotel cluster) or tawdriness (compared to environs of North Station hotel cluster, which has the downside of running the gamut of the often over-persistent local ladies of the night on your way back to the hotel!).
Prices normally reasonable (for Brussels, at least, even if not in absolute terms).
My default choice for the city.
