We sat upstairs and it was nice and quite. Then a party on 20 men came in. We got our order in fast. House white French wine a hit at 6 $ a generous glass. Then you get a little snack of a salmon mousse that was really tasty and unexpected. Nice touch. Wife had small sole fishes. Once we figured out how to filet them they were tasty. I had sea bass. Very well prepared with the best asparagus I’ve ever had. Nice dining experience. Good wait staff. They all helped each other look after the larger party as well as the small tables. Will go back. Patio looked nice for warmer weather.

The bar area is situated down stairs and the main dining area is up stairs, there is an outdoor terrace area which you pass through to the main entrance which on those rare days that the sun is out and it is not raining would be nice place to start off the night with a Belgium beer In the foyer there is a sizable fish tank with lobsters A quick read of the menu and my eye catches things like smoked deer and cuckoo amongst other mouth watering options I was there with a small group so I took the smoked deer and another person tried out the cuckoo The smoked deer was an entrée, thinly sliced smoked deer with berries and salad. Quite nice, not overly smoky to take away any flavour of the deer I had the beef fillet which was one of the best I have had in a long time. Served on a bed of veggies and again a side of frites(typical Belgium) The cuckoo from all reports was excellent The crime brûlée for dessert was possible the only weak point of the three courses mainly because I did not chose the ice cream with hot Belgium chocolate sauce option, thick and rich and full of chocolatly goodness. Top this off with a French red and it was an all round lovely meal

You would nver know that these are the old administration offices of a brewery unless when you were told. This is a beautifully designed place with the best breakfasts(range from simple to champagne) in town. Also a nice place to relax with a book or for a chat with friends. I Haven’t tried the cuisine but it does look tempting.
