History

Established in 2012.

We are a brother and sister team that took over the Louise hotel on November 1st of last year. In January 2012, we started «refreshing» the entire building. Ultimately this resulted in the total refurbishment of the hotel — but with careful attention and detailed respect for the hotel’s renowned personality, charm, soul and style. We baptized our new freshly refurnished hotel Made in Louise.

Ein echtes Kleinod in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse downtown Brüssel. Super renoviertes Gebäude von 1912 mit überaus liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Modern und schick. Klasse Bett… mein WC war im Wandschrank. Sehr originell. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls überdurchschnittlich und die Freundlichkeit des Service wie ich das von Familienbetrieben kenne. Hier ist man wirklich noch Gast. Das ganze Package dann noch zu einem sensationellen Preis inkl. Frühstück: besser gehts wirklich kaum. Eine absolute Empfehlung wenn man in Brüssel eine Bleibe sucht.

I loved this hotel but I gave it one star due to the lack of easy access. Lots of help from the staff but staircase from the street nonetheless.
The finishes and furnishes are airy and fresh. My room was large and windows opened to the street.
Breakfast was divine and the grey/​green color scheme in the dining room was so welcoming.
Location is perfect for shopping, walking, and tram.
I would stay there again.

Un excellent moment passé dans cet hôtel très bien situé, à 10min du centre de Bruxelles.
Accueil très agréable, décoration discrète et moderne.
Mention spéciale au petit déjeuner qui, s’il n’est pas gigantesque en terme de choix, propose uniquement de la qualité (par exemple, de vrais jus de fruits frais, non coupés à l’eau ou achetés en briques).
Le service est d’ailleurs discret mais chaleureux lorsque l’on demande quelque chose.
En un mot: recommandé, évidemment !

Great boutique hotel off the tourist path of Brussels, in a very modern and beautiful neighborhood. Fantastic hotel breakfast in a light and airy room overlooking their in process garden. Come in the summer when room prices are lower!

I stayed at Made in Louise during a recent business trip to Brussels and France. This small, privately and locally owned hotel is great. The staff is friendly, very helpful and the rooms are comfortable and large by European standards. The hotel was recently remodeled so everything is current and modern but homey.
The breakfast each morning was a simple but excellent assortment and the dining area was sunny and comfortable. The location is ideal if you wish to walk around Brussels and see the many great sites and shopping. The main entrance is on a side residential street so it is quiet even though you are in the city.
I highly recommend this hotel.
