Ran in here to escape the downpour. The staff ignored us so we seated ourselves and then bf went to the counter to order. The place had so many different beans to choose from but so I picked any old bean to be served as a filter coffee. It was cool to see them make the filter coffee as they weighed in the hot water etc(clearly knew what they were doing) however the place was lack atmosphere and when the coffee was brought over it was rudely dumped on the table. If you are really in to your coffee I would recommend however it isn’t the best place we enjoyed a coffee while away.

This café is in the bottom floor of the apartment we are renting here in Gent and it is such a luxury to have it so nearby! The baristas are very good, the coffee tastes great, and a lot of the menu is in english so it is very simple to order as someone who doesn’t speak dutch. We have already been there three times and will likely be back at some point tomorrow as well!

Fantastic coffee, great service, tight but cosy spot. Finding this place was a huge relief for us, Portland(Oregon) travellers with caffeine withdrawal and homesickness. The gals behind the counter make great pour-over and espresso drinks and the whole-bean coffee they roast and sell is absolutely top-notch. Bonus fact: one of the baristas is the Aeropress World Champion, and she’s actually quoted on the box the Aeropress comes in!

Feels like home. Had muesli with yoghurt and apples, filter coffee from Guatemala with a little milk. Nice people and quick service. As far as non-espresso coffee, about as good as I’ve had in Europe. Good for people watching from the side windows too, and located near parking and siteseeing.
