This looked like a touristy knick-knack shop but the promise of cheap sandwiches lured us in anyway. We had just walked the 4 or so miles from Bruges and we were famished. Luckily this little gem blew us away! We enjoyed delicious paninis on fresh bread(I think mine was the Damme, with gooey melted Camembert and a nice apple sauce that complemented perfectly without being too sweet) and some local brews. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Ok for real, this place makes bomb sandwiches, brews their own beer upstairs and rents bicycles; all for a price that won’t break the bank! I had the España panini and it was delicious. It was a salami panini that had this like essence of Cajun spicing in it. I dug it. My wife got the Chief and liked it as well. This place is also a brewery! There isn’t any tour per se, but rather just a shop where you can purchase homemade beers under the label Pater Van Damme. Apparently the patriarch of the family brews the beer upstairs and sells it. They also rents bikes for a very reasonable rate. As of this writing it is € 9.95 for a day. Price is very reasonable. Sandwiches are in the € 5.00 range with drinker(even beer!) for like another € 2.00. Thank god there is a cheap eats place that is good in this part of the world. All in all a cool spot worth seeking out! Great destination for a chill bicycle ride out of Bruges.
