I would highly recommend this hotel to any tourist looking for a clean, nice hotel in a fantastic and convenient location. The room itself is clean, modern, and roomy, with lots of power outlets and interesting lighting options. It was a bit odd how the toilet and shower/sink were in different rooms, although I could see how that would be convenient if you were sharing the room. Since I was alone, it was a bit of a hassle but not a dealbreaker in any way. During my stay it was clear they catered a lot to the business traveler crowd, but there was definitely a fair share of tourists as well. The breakfast included in the rate was really convenient and a nice little perk. It was great waking up not worrying about where to grab a bite before heading out for the day. It’s the standard stuff you’d expect from a business hotel breakfast buffet, and not going to win any awards for quality, but all the dishes were always replenished quickly and I left fueled up for a day packed with activities. The location is great. You’re about a 7 minute walk to the Grand Place and surrounding areas, as well as about a 3 minute walk to a slew of great restaurants in St. Catherine. It’s right next to(pretty much on top of) the Tour Noire, a medieval turret and part of the old city wall, so you can’t ask for a better easy tourist photo op! After eating nothing but beef stew, fries with mayonnaise, seafood, and chocolate truffles for several days, I was glad to see a Caesar salad on the menu at the hotel restaurant. I was apprehensive about ordering it since often the salads are an afterthought for many restaurants and are kind of thrown together with soggy, brown lettuce. But I was ready for a quiet night at the hotel catching up on emails and enjoying a healthy dinner, so I went with it. I was extremely surprised and relieved to see a big bowl full of fresh greens and toppings served alongside a mini baguet and three small dishes containing dressing, croutons, and parmesan. I was impressed with the quality and the presentation given it was 1) a salad in 2) a hotel restaurant. Overall I was impressed with the room, the location, restaurant, and amenities(there is a gym as well, but I was too busy stuffing my face with fried potatoes to give it a try). Definitely recommended if you can get a reasonable rate!

Location: as good as it gets. Value: you won’t do better Rooms: simple, but spacious, clean but not winning any design prices, but hey, you’re not paying for 5 stars, so it’s all good. Staff: ver friendly, super helpful. Restaurant: didn’t manage to attract us. Facilities: everything you need.

I stayed at Novotel Brussels Centre for 2 nights and it was great! The hotel is very conveniently located in walking distance of most tourist destinations. The hotel staff are wonderful and the front desk staff helped me find my way as a tourist.(My husband was in business meetings so I was touring on my own.) I ate lunch one day at their Food Square restaurant and it was tasty. I’d recommend staying here when you visit Brussels.

Easily our favorite hotel on our trip to Brussels, Bruges, and Paris. The location is fantastic. You can easily walk to Grand Place. And, the St. Katherine area is great on its own. We stayed in early December and there was a Christmas market right behind the hotel, extending to the nearby square. The room itself was so welcoming. Spacious(not my usual experience in Europe), modern, and full of amenities. There was a small sitting area next to the very comfortable bed that had a fun light-up headboard. Wifi was strong and the TV was adequate size with many channels. The bathroom was lovely with a large walk-in shower with a rain shower head. Windows in the bedroom and bathroom opened up, which was nice for taking pictures of the surrounding neighborhood. Breakfast was also the best of the trip. Oh so many choices: eggs, meat, cheese, yogurt, bread, pastries, etc. Service was exceptional. Sadly we missed our first night at the hotel due to a canceled flight, but they had our room ready when we arrived around 9AM the next day, got us checked in quickly, and gave us recommendations on what to see once we rested a bit. If back in Brussels, I would book here again. And I’ll start looking for the Novotel brand in other destinations, hoping they will be as nice.

The surrounding streets are hella grimey but this place is a safe-haven for people who want to sleep in the lap of luxury. The lobby décor is dope and the breakfast buffet is mad copious. The rooms are def sweet and the toilet and the shower are separate. My view of the city was crazyyyyyy.

OK avec l’avis précèdent. Pour les habitués des novotel, le standard est respecté. Façade en réfection actuellement qui rend difficile l’accès a l’hôtel Très bon rapport qualité prix. Situé place sainte Catherine, plein centre.

The best part of this hotel is that it is very close to the Grand Place(2 blocks). It is also a couple of blocks from Brussels’ Chinatown, and easily accessible to the central train station via the metro. The room was very large and modern with a comfortable bed, flat screen TV, and all the expected amenities. A bonus was that the desk contained HDMI and USB plugins built in that could charge my iPhone/iPad as well as connect to the TV if I had an HDMI cable. It was slightly odd that the toilet and the shower/tub and sink were in separate spaces, but did provide extra space. The shower and sink were very modern and looked like they had been updated within the last few years. I only chose to eat breakfast in the hotel one day, but the buffet had many selections(eggs, bacon, sausage, cheeses, meats, breads), so was worth the 20 euro price tag for that one day. I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I am in Brussels.
