Yes, yes, yes. Another country, another Starbucks Mug! I am a quirky collector of Starbucks mugs & like to commemorate my visits with a token mug & Belgium was no different Located in the train station, we pulled into the visitor, 15-minute parking lot to run into the SBux & grab our treasure Setup much like all other Starbucks, it is nice to see the consistency & although we did not purchase any coffee, per se, there was a packed house of happy travelers looking for their caffeine fix & the line moved quickly There were plenty of mugs for Bruges, Belgium as well as «standard» mugs in solid colors. We grabbed Belgium & were back on the road to our next vacation destination. Nice stop of you’re in the area!

Ok, So if you’ve seen one Starbucks, you have pretty much seen them all. And since I am not a major coffee drinker, this is especially true in my case. However, I may not drink much coffee, but I am a fan of their country and city mug collection. Well, actually, it is a friend of mine, but I do enjoy the hunt for her treasured Starbucks mugs. So when I rolled into Brugge, I went right to the train station’s Starbucks and ordered a Brugge’s swan adorned mug. So far so good, right? But that ended when the clerk handed me the mug in a bag and not a box. I asked her about the box, and she said that they didn’t have any boxes. She went on to say that the wrapping would be fine, but I explained that I would be taking it back to the good old USA, and that we kind of like our mugs intact over there. So, like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator, I said that«I’ll be back,» when I was ready to leave Brugge. True to my word, I returned to find that somehow boxes for the mugs had somehow managed to miraculously arrive in my three day absence. Ah, the magic of Starbucks… Swan mugs for one and all!
