Accueil agréable, service délicat et souriant. Gaufres à tomber avec de vrais fruits frais. L’emplacement au centre et la déco est parfaite A refaire

A bit expensive, but I can say that this has been by far the best waffle I have eaten in Belgium! 12 € approx. The place is really cute and cozy. The employees were super nice and friendly.

Amazing waffles and all around great food. Service is good and I don’t think we have one bad thing to say about anything we ordered. Club sandwich, chips, eggs, bacon, waffles, croissants and other pastries — all amazing.

Outrageously overpriced and the food quality leaves a lot to be desired. Avoid this tourist trap.

How I adored this quaint spot! After traveling from Brussels to Brugge and checking in to our B&B, my mom and I wondered down our street toward the main square but didn’t make it all the way. We found Prestige, with its enticing window of sweets, and had to stop in for lunch. We opted for the English afternoon tea, which came with a selection of finger sandwiches, sweets, and tea. The sandwiches were nothing to write home about but what won us over was the variety of tasty sweets we had before us. They were gone in a matter of minutes. Keep in mind there is free Wifi, which was lovely for me, the tourist with no international plan on my phone.

Very friendly owners. Perfect location right off of the town square. Delicious pastries and hot chocolate. Quaint and comfortable with an old-world feel. Child friendly, and a great place to stop and have a quick bite.

First things first, I found Prestige to be very expensive. To be honest, our bill total is the most we have ever spent on breakfast EVER and you know what, the food was just OK. My husband ordered the Prestige Breakfast for a whopping € 17.60. Yes, there was a large amount of food but honestly, who needs three pastries along with eggs, fruit and all the trimmings. I ordered the egg omelet with two«fillings», at an additional cost of € 1 per filling, bringing the price of my egg and toast breakfast to somewhere around € 12. I can’t remember exactly but I do remember feeling taken to the cleaners. First, their«fillings» are not fillings. They are the item on your choice(bacon and cheese in mine) laid on top of your egg omelet. It is hard to gauge but I would say that there were three pieces of bacon on top of my omelet and they were pure fat: inedible is the best way to describe the bacon. The cheese was a hard cheese, similar to Parmesan and was shaved on top of the omelet. The orange juice was lovely, the service was good, the cappuccino was just OK, I could have done without the fruit fly swarming around our plates, and the décor could do with some updating. Was the food worth the money? No. Would I return? Yes, and we did the following day but opted for takeaway pastries which were tasty. Takeaway pastries is a much better value for money than the sit down breakfast. If you are looking for a sit down breakfast, give Gingerbread a try across the street instead. The food is better at Gingerbread in my opinion.

Feminine, cute, and expensive, Prestige can be a good choice for a restorative stop when you get tired of investigating the center of Brugge. Convenient location is worth seeking out. The staff are welcoming, and the coffee is good. Be careful about breakfast, however, because the pricy pastry combination is just your choice of 3 *full-size* pastries. I don’t know about you, but it’s impossible for me to eat 3 croissants, and so was a bit of a waste.(My husband felt differently, needless to say.) Customers seemed to be tourists. A nearby couple of Germans were earnestly instructing a lone Brit about auras. «Just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not real!»

You only need to walk about a block north of the Markt to find a terrific breakfast. The menu is full of bread and pastries from the bakery, eggs, pancakes and waffles, as well as some really good coffee. Rather than having to choose from all of those options, I went when very hungry and tried both the eggs and waffles. The scrambled eggs were very tasty with mushrooms and chives and served with two pieces of toast. The waffle was big and fluffy with just a hint of a syrup to keep it from being too dry. Big, fresh strawberries were piled high on top of the dusting of powdered sugar. The java coffee is a combination of espresso and hot chocolate — pure heaven. The only tough part was walking out past the display cases full of cakes, breads and chocolate, despite having been totally satisfied by the delicious meal. The place is not cheap, but well worth it.

A delicious tea room/shop just off the main market square. Choose from a large range of savouries and cakes, as well as chocolates. See the photos? They taste as good as they look! We happened upon Prestige by accident and we were glad we did. We shared a selection of mini savouries and mini cakes with tea — scrumptious! Quite expensive, though.
