Terrible Service! Took a while to get the first round of beers, and then we were completely ignored afterward. We had finally resorted to waving at the waiter, who acknowledged us like he would come over soon, but didn’t. When he kept serving other regulars before us, we paid our money on the table and left. Don’t go here if you are visiting. The beer list is good but not

worth the hassle at all. We had way better service, and a lot more fun at Moeder Lambic and Delirium.

Terrible service, came here with friends while visiting Brussels. Waiter continually ignored us no matter what we did to try to place another order. We wanted to order 6 more beers and food but could not get any service. Would never go here again. Granted there was only one person working here, he made us feel unwelcome. We calculated the tab ourselves, left money on the table, and left.

A place with a bit of a bizarre interior and a rather quaint waiter, but they do have a very extensive choice of beers.

Incredible beer bar. Very extensive bottle list with some unique and tasty beers on tap. My friend and I tried have tried a ridiculous amount of beer in the US, and had tried a lot in various Belgium cities before experiencing this gem. We each had two beers we both thought were great and had never had before. I highly recommend for any beer enthusiast.

It used to be a must go for beer lovers tourists but it seems to me that is not really the case anymore.
Which is a pity as you’ll find around 100 carefully selected beers on the menu, all classified by type and with a small explanation for each of them. You’ll also find some aged beers.
The service is great and the owner is always available for advices/​chats around the beer he likes.
Reasonable prices as you’ll still find nice not so common beers at 3 € 50 for 33cl which becomes rare in Brussels.
The food is ok in the barfood genre.

My wife and I were here last year while visiting Brussels. Great selection of beers, most of which I have never heard of. We really enjoyed the vibe and the bartender and customers were all very friendly. We spent several hours enjoying some amazing beers. I will make an effort to come back here next time I am in Brussels.

You’ll find great beers a bit everywhere in town.
However this place has a great list og old beers and gueuze, some dating from before 2000. Reserved for beer amateurs :-) The boss will know how to advise you in your choice! Just trust him.
The rest of the beers are delicious
On top you can add some good food. Not much choice, but just what you need to go with a great beer.
The only «less good point» is that it was a bit empty on a Saturday night 8pm. I guess people come here more after work during the week or during the day in the weekend
