The very best Sushi place in Antwerp and it can compete with Excellent Sushi places in North America and Asia, including Japan. There are always a lot Japanese customers here which is a good sign I guess. The place does look like it could do with a refurbish but that seems to be the same with sushi places all over the world.

One of the best sushi places ever. Great atmosphere, great service, amazing food. A bit pricy but if you’re willing to pay, your stomach will love you. Kenji-san, the main chef and owner is very kind and full of amazing stories. Def worth visiting. Btw, you’ll probably be eating next to successful celebrities from the diamond dealing industry here. ;) ;)

If you like Japanese food, it’s the place to be! Sushi and sashimi are fantastic. Ask any Japanese and he will send you there. Small tip: ask for sashimi and sushi + some of there specialities(he will vary and give you the freshest). Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I come from California, place well known for it’s sushi worshiping culture, and Oh My God this restaurant can compare to the best of the best! We came on a week day, the place was surprisingly empty with only the chef working both as a cook and a waiter. Seemed suspicious until i saw my plate and tasted the first piece!!! Not gonna say a lot, it’s enough to mention that we gave the guy an applause after finishing our marvelous food! Little hidden Japanese diamond that i hope will not be discovered by many and will stay the same for many more years!

Twenty minutes walk from the historical centre, and worth doing it on your knees. The shop looks dated, and the corny backlit sign makes you think this may be a bad idea. But there must be some unspoken rule that the best sushi restaurants are transported from decades past. Once you taste the food it becomes clear why several customers are Japanese themselves: this is the real deal. The fish was superb, and the preparation straightforward and unpretentious — none of the fancy presentation of fashion-conscious places, just really good food. Two telltale choices: the octopus was very tender, an easy one to get wrong. And the tuna sashimi, so often victim to dry, opaque squidginess, was deep and vibrant in colour, retaining the moist bite of fresh fish. Added to the essentials when in town.

Went here and didn’t expect that much from it’s location. Such contrast with the food there… quite fresh and well flavoured. A bit higher priced but worth the money. Try getting a seat close to the bar where the fresh food is made and watch the chefs prepare the sushi and sashimi with Japanese precision.

From my experience around the world this restaurant is very authentic compared to the best places in Japan and elsewhere. True taste without complexity. Please have your try…

This Japanese restaurant is always filled with a Japanese clientele, which is a good indication of the quality of the traditional fare they serve here. The prices are somewhat steep but everything is top notch, always fresh and impeccably prepared. It may seem somewhat intimidating to try to figure out what everything is, but I have always found the staff to be extremely helpful in this regard. I love the sushi and rolls and sashimi, as well as the more seasonal items on the menu, like the razor clams with mushrooms and the tiny fried fish. This is, by far, my favorite Japanese restaurant.
