What a treat to come to Tquiero for a Sunday brunch. Not only is the food good, but the service is friendly thanks to the owner who is hands-on in his little café. We had a nice chat about all of the delicious foods he prepares, and it was nice to have an English menu to peruse. I ended up with the goat cheese sandwich which was amazing, and I tried my friend’s empanadas which were also really good. This is really good international flavors for Western Europe!

Love this place. The food was amazing — we had the salmon special, chili plate, and vegetarian curry plate. Everything was great. It’s also pretty cool because they have an open kitchen and everything is prepared right then and there.

This little restaurant apparently opened 9 months ago and I’m kicking myself in the butt for letting 9 months pass before I tried it. This place is so cosy and housely. Sergei, the owner really pulls out all the guns to give this place the feeling that you are in Mexico or anywhere else in South-America. I went in for a little afternoon coffee and appetisers. I ordered a Mejican Coffee and my companion an Italian, 4,90EUR a piece ain’t bad! Especially after the first sip when you taste the amount of liquor he used. As appetiser we order a tablita which contains tomato salsa, hummus and herb butter served with 2 kinds of bread for only 4,60EUR. A great combination for an easy afternoon. A glimp of the menu also tells me that you can have great lunch or sandwiches here. I’ll definitely come back, for it. Also, after a short chat with Sergei, he tells me about specials for locals and about dinner specials on Thursday and Friday night. On those nights he cooks up some special dishes from anywhere in South America. They have Chili-con-carne every week and 2 to 3 changing dishes going from Bolivian to Brazilian to Argentinian dishes. Prices for those dishes varies from 11,50 to 14,50. I think it worth visiting and you’ll find me there very soon on Thursday or Friday. Overall… I found myself a new hidden pearl in the area

«Is it fair to review a place you where you spent less than half an hour?», I wonder to myself. I only had some tea, and they didn’t seem to have much in the way of food. But I noticed the little things. The honey pot at each table, the art on the walls, the nice sturdy benches, seats. It was relaxing, a warm comforting atmosphere and probably worth spending more than a few moments in. But I couldn’t stay long, and I don’t know if I’ll be back.
