Child rain boot mission — accomplished! My toddler has a deep fascination with puddles and thus on our wintery venture into Antwerp was constantly suffering from freezing cold feet. We needed some rainboots. We were told to go to Torfs. We did, we found the exact right ones, we were in and out within a few minutes for just 24 euros! Done and dusted. The ladies in the shoe section were absolutely lovely, gave him a balloon even! The rest of the shoes are on the pricy side, but are higher end brands(Geox, etc). I was tempted but I honestly just cannot pay 100 euros for children’s shoes, his feet grow before my very eyes, it just doesn’t make sense. But I admired them from afar and was happy to have gotten the wellies in order, which saved us a lot of headache for the trip. He’s gotten his wear out of them already given we live in London. Nice shop with kids section on top including shoes/clothing and adult clothing, shoes and accessories downstairs. It’s on the main Meir shopping street, so fairly easy to find.
