Chicken, slow-​cooked,… but it doesn’t live up to the hype in my opinion. The ‘waterzooi’ I got was rather bland, the chicken was tough to chew even…
When I get one of these ‘au bain marie’ packages from the supermarket with industrial waterzooi, it even tastes better.
Also, I find 11 euro’s for a very, very tiny dish (not even qualifying as an appetizer) rather expensive.
The seats were terrible too, my back hurt after 5 mins.
This is a fad, or something people with too much money will like because of the image and the hype. It’s trendy, the people are super (fake) friendly and professional… but this is all air and image.
