Simply can’t be faulted. Set menu for € 49,50 with a glass of cave and wine included. Know for the horse steak and rightly so. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have been in hundreds of restaurants. This place is as close to perfect as can be. It is easily in my top 10.
The most amazing thing was the service. Able to adjust to customers’ styles, humor, and able to answer any questions regarding the food. When asked for suggestions able to find exactly what the customer wants.
The decoration is wonderful, as can be seen on the photos.
Peerdestal means ‘horse-​stables’ in the local dialect. Please note that horse meat is also on the menu. If you have a problem with that, perhaps this is not the place for you.
We were two people who shared a starter and both ate a steak with salad and fries. We each had two glasses of wine and one coffee. We paid around 140 euro in total.

Ce restaurant se trouve dans le quartier historique de la ville, dans une petite rue pavée charmante et ce qui a fini de nous attirer ce sont probablement, outré la carte, les têtes de chevaux sur la façade arrière…sûrement le syndrôme lasagnes Findus)
Sans surprise, à la carte, beaucoup de viande sont proposées dans un décor très «carnivore»: morceaux de viande crus qui pendent sur des crochets derrière une vitre comme chez le boucher dans l’entrée, corps de chevaux suspendus au dessus des têtes.
C’est finalement pour une entrecôte (maturée ça se dit en français?) du Limousin que j’ai choisi, servie avec des frites et une bonne sauce à la béarnaise. Le vin conseillé avec d’Espagne était parfait. Le dessert était très appétissant mais manquait de goût au final (pourtant avec du chocolat Valrhona).
Les prix restent assez élevés mais peut-​être sont ils les mêmes dans les autres restaurants de ce niveau dans la ville.

Simply delicious and fairly priced. Nice decoration with horses as the main team. Biggest gamba’s ever seen on a plate. Nice selection of wines and even the house wine is of supurb quality. Try it and dont get dissapointed.
