Bar Bounce

A new cocktail bar in Antwerp AND at ‘t Zuid… Like there aren’t enough in this area of Antwerp. I guess we are at 4 cocktail bars in a 100 m radius?
But again… Bar Bounce differentiates himself from the rest. Finally there’s a «speakeasy”-like bar in Antwerp. It’s not totally what a speakeasy is, but it’s getting there.
The bar is very quiet so you can easily bring a date or work related company there. No loud music, good couches and bar stools.
When we were there, there was a problem that someone stole a bottle and for some reason everybody who wasn’t at the bar had to wait for 15 minutes before the waiter came over. Which was okay for this occasion but it will bother me the next time.
When the waiter came over he gave us the menu and told us about his Gin & Tonic specials and also about how good there cocktails are… But when you ask for an Old Fashioned, it’s not possible… Something I don’t get in Belgian bars, they have everything why not make one if I want it? I never had a Gin & Tonic but I’m eager to learn. Unfortunately he ignored my question on which one he would suggest and why. There goes your chance for a 5-​star review and some extra cash.
The volume you’re getting is plenty. At first I thought: «12 EUR for a Gin & Tonic!» but I must admit it was worth it. I really liked the taste and they’ll see me again soon. Especially the tonic which was a special one made the glass perfect.
If my second visit is close to impeccable. I’m changing my stars into 5!
