Austria Trendhotel Savoyen

Really nice hotel for the price. Very reasonable at about 100 pounds per night for two people. Really friendly staff, large rooms with decent soundproofing, cleand comfortable. Location was great too, close to the metro station, to some cafes as well as a supermarket and post office.15−20 minute walk from centre of town. Would reccomend this hotel and would definately stay there in the future.

Nicely appointed modern rooms. Very clean. Front desk staff and dining staff very attentive. The selections for breakfast were vast and overwhelming.
Initially, I had difficulty locating my room! A group of rooms are in a main hallway and are so discreetly numbered… one could not even find it! Fortunately a very kind staff person was walking by!
Only complaint — and I did not factor this into the review stars — bar staff were challenged on how to make certain easy ‘American-​standard’ drinks. Yes, I agree, «When in Rome…» but other guests were not as accommodating.

Very nice hotel with modern look. Spacious rooms for Europe, showers could be a bit larger and shelves would be nice (shampoo and conditioner, meet the floor), conference and meeting rooms looked nice for business. A bit out of the downtown area if you’re looking to walk, but right around the corner from Belvedere Palace. Small fitness area with a sauna.

Sehr schönes Hotel, ruhige + klimatisierte Zimmer. Angenehm und geschmackvoll möbliert, tolles Bad. Wellnessbereich vorhanden. Innenstadt von Wien bequem zu Fuss in ca. 15 Min. zu erreichen. Airport S-​Bahn Haltestelle Rennweg ist nur knapp 200m entfernt.

Das Trendhotel Savoyen hat vor einigen Jahren eröffnet und reiht sich in die Hotels der 4-​Sterne Kategorie ein. Es ist dementsprechend ausgestattet und bietet den üblichen 4-​Sterne-​Beige-​Stil. Es ist eine Spur stilvoller als Hotels bekannter amerikanischer Hotelketten. Was ich an dem Hotel mag ist, dass selbst die Standardzimmer doch relativ groß sind (nicht nur mit Bett und Tisch, sondern auch mit Sitzecke ausgestattet). Das Essen ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht innovativ. Es entspricht dem Sternestandard. Der Exekutivbereich ganz oben ist wirklich empfehlenswert zumal dort auch ein separates Frühstück mit wunderbarstem Ausblick über Wien geboten wird.
Das Einzige, das mich am Hotel ein wenig stört, ist dass es auf der Meetingetage keinen permanenten Service vor Ort gibt. Ständig muss man bei fehlenden Dingen zur Rezeption hinunterlaufen, schildert sein Problem/​Bedürfnis und sieht in verständnislose Augen. Letztendlich werden dann doch alle Dinge zeitgerecht erledigt, aber halt mit viel Aufwand, der nicht sein müßte.
