Untersbergbahn Talstation

Salzburg has a lot to offer to the adventuring tourist, and this is no exception. From the Untersbergbahn Talstation, you can take the cable car up to the Untersberg which overlooks Salzburg. The tide is smooth and the scenery breathtaking. Once the cable car ride is over, the real fun begins. A fun climb in through the snow to the peak. But for those who are not interested in making the short ascent to the peak, the ride to the station on the Untersberg is worth it for the incredible view of Salzburg down below. During my week stay in Salzburg, the trip up to Untersberg was one of my most memorable moments of the trip, and would highly recommend to any to-​be tourist of Salzburg as a must do while there.
