Lovely. Great Italian Service & Even Tastier Pizza. Fed Family Of 4 With Drinks For $ 60. A Rarity In Today’s Age Beyond Fast Food Or Takeaway. Highly Recommended For Light Tasty Sicilian Style Pizza.

Walked into Lucio’s Zetland and got a luke warm greeting from a tall waitress with brown curly hair in a black t-shirt. Yes I’m calling you out because you are clearly not happy in customer service. Then was told we only had 1 hour to eat as there were lots of bookings, which was fine but still got sat next to a wall next to the toddler chairs, even though the restaurant was basically empty with only 1 family at another table by the windows. Ordered food and 2 waters and we watched the same waitress then start chatting to other staff, whist we were still waiting for our waters. We reminded her again about the water and she gave us a stank face, came over the filled out glass with water without one word. Awkward. This girl is definitely in the wrong industry. We were hoping the pizza would redeem the attitude from the waitress but unfortunately not. The middle of the pizza was soggy and floppy, the crust of the pizza was good but what’s the use when u pick up a slice of pizza and its droopy? Really disappointed for a so-called pizza joint to serve such sub-standard pizza.

Loved Lucio’s!!! Having gone on a Friday lunch it wasn’t busy at all the staff were super attentive and helpful. The menu is full of traditional Italian flavours that didn’t disappoint. I have to admit I did look at Instagram and the menu before having arrived and had my mind set on the Lucio pizza. Half margarita had calzone. O M G it was delicious!!! I asked for extra sauce on the margarita because I like everything extra saucy nothing was an issue and they happily added more. The waitress asked if we wanted chilli and Parmesan with out me having to ask(and I always ask for extra chilli and Parmesan) The pizza special ordered by my friend was my second favourite. Crispy crust a tad soggy in the middle but I happen to love pizza like that. Will be going back again for sure!

I never quite grasped the whole«it’s all in the dough» philosophy about pizza until I came here. The pizza is delicious and honest, where the crust almost outshines the actual toppings. A familiar name in many«top pizza» lists online, I truly believe this is well deserved. I ordered the 3 types mozzarella(stuffed mozzarella being my favorite), the half pizza calzone, classic magherita, diavola, and the truffle prosciutto pizza. Each flavor was very distinct and gives you the feeling it’s made and derived from the most traditional Italian ways of pizza making(I could be wrong). Needless to say, it was a very enjoyable feed. Will be back for more, without a doubt.

Not sure I understand the hype surrounding Lucio Pizzeria. Had dinner here on a Sunday night and the restaurant was busy. Paid $ 40 for a soggy, salty pizza and an entrée of 3 blobs of mozerella sitting on a single layer of spinach leaves, 2 pieces of sundried tomato(0.5cm x 2 cm each) with no other accompaniments. Ended up having to create my own pizza by layering the mozerella on top. $ 40 for a meal in a shopping arcade is extremely overpriced. The restaurant is one of three in Sydney accredited by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association and I was disappointed by the quality of the pizza.

Actually this place is quite good and the food is very much reminiscent of Europe. It’s quite pricey however if you want to relax with friends and have a great bottle of wine, this is the place! The façade is quite deceiving but once you get your butt out of the car and walk around to see it, the restaurant is relatively huge and quite pleasing! Staff are quite accommodating and very European, what a nice«FLAVOR»!!!
